Our client is looking for an experienced Energy Projects Support Officer
2 days in the office, 3 days remote working – Monday to Friday

1. Work with project managers and with contractors to liaise and consult with householders, arranging appointments for access to individual properties.
2. Produce and amend when appropriate, letters, leaflets, documents and other forms of communication, using appropriate language, to advise householders of support available for their homes, taking in to account any equality and diversity aspects of individual tenants, including literacy levels.
3. Engage directly with householders through scheduled home visits and public events to raise awareness of available support.
4. Resolve customer and public concerns at first contact as they are raised and liaise with householders, contractors and other agencies as required to ensure accuracy of information and to facilitate prompt complaint resolution.
5. Work in conjunction with contractors to check compliance with FCC policies, health & safety and service standards and to also ensure the smooth delivery of the programmed works.
6. Deal sensitively with often vulnerable householders to ensure that they fully understand and are comfortable with services or works to be provided. Be sensitive to their wider needs and, with their agreement, make referrals to wider support agencies where appropriate.
7. Problem solve and make decisions whilst on site and working alongside contractors to achieve successful outcomes.
8. Gather, collate and report management information on the satisfaction of householders, performance of contractors and performance of the service.
