Who are we?

Colbern Limited is operated by two recruitment experienced directors who between them have worked for over 70 years in the recruitment industry. They have worked in senior posts both large multi-discipline agencies and smaller specialist firms.

During their time in recruitment the industry and processes have changed and the Directors have ensured that they have kept up to date with the needs of their clients and candidates alike, all whilst ensuring they work within current legislation working as an equal opportunities agency.

Who do we work with?

Predominantly working with Local Authorities and public sector organisations in sourcing both contract, temp to perm and permanent candidates.

Our Process

Nearly all our client’s use an electronic system to manage applications – so to ensure compliance to our client’s needs and also the best possible opportunity for you to be short listed we ask that you do the following:-

  1. Send your CV by email
  2. We review your CV, telephone to talk through the vacancy and your experience
  3. If, shortlisted we will send you our application form and ask for evidence of your identity and eligibility to work in the UK
  4. Return the completed forms ASAP – especially if there is a closing date
  5. We send client specific forms via Docu-Sign for your completion
  6. Once received we will upload to the client’s system and keep you advised of progress
