SEN Case officer
Shrewsbury fully remote
Contract
£290 per day limited paid via umbrella company inside IR35
Our client is looking for an experienced SEN Case Officer
Working arrangements: Monday to Thursday 8:45 to 5pm and Friday 8:45 to 4pm (fully remote)
To manage complex or escalated Annual Review cases, particularly where the review outcome is disputed, unclear, or requires significant amendments.

Key Responsibilities
Take ownership of challenging AR cases, including:
Disputes from parents/settings
Requests for specialist or out-of-county placements
Significant provision changes
Manage cases from review decision through to amended/final plan
Prepare and present complex AR outcomes to panel (RCP)
Justify funding uplifts, placement changes, or specialist provision
Work closely with Parents/carers (often in dispute scenarios), Schools and SENCOs and Providers and professionals
Manage expectations and reduce escalation to tribunal where possible
