A Compliance Officer supports the safe and compliant delivery of gas services by monitoring compliance activity, managing property access challenges and helping ensure required work is completed within agreed timescales.
The role involves coordinating with residents, contractors and internal teams to resolve access difficulties and maintain clear, accurate records.
The officer also reviews the information held in compliance systems, including data quality, access permissions and the way information is recorded and shared. By analysing this data, the officer can identify gaps, track outstanding actions, produce accurate compliance reports and help teams use systems effectively to meet their responsibilities and maintain required standards.
